Edward Chisoro

Edward Chisoro is a strategic programme and operations professional with a strong background in data systems, monitoring and evaluation, and organisational coordination across Southern Africa.

He currently serves as Director of South Africa Operations at Global TIES Alliance, where he supports the coordination of regional initiatives, strengthens operational systems, and contributes to the implementation of cross-border programmes aligned with trade, investment, sustainability, and human capital development.

Edward brings over eight years of experience supporting multi-country initiatives, with expertise in building structured monitoring frameworks, governance-aligned reporting systems, and secure digital infrastructures that enhance accountability and execution in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

In addition to his work in international development, he has held roles within the University of Johannesburg, contributing to programme coordination, academic operations, and data-informed decision-making across undergraduate and postgraduate initiatives.

He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science, is a Certified Professional Data Analyst (CPDA®), and is pursuing a Master's in Applied Data Science. Edward is based in Johannesburg, South Africa, and works across regional and international teams supporting Africa-focused development initiatives.
